When the thread is not penetrated, the depth of the hole is not enough; the cutting speed is too high and too fast when tapping the thread; the tap and the thread bottom for tapping The diameter of the hole is different; the selection of the tapping parameters is not suitable, the hardness of the workpiece is unstable; the tap is used for too long and excessive wear.

The taper taper angle of the tap is too large; the tap thickness of each tap is too large; the quenching hardness of the tap is too high; the tap is used for a long time and the wear is severe.

When the tap wears too fast, the cutting speed is too high; the tapping sharpening parameter selection is not suitable; the cutting fluid is improperly selected, the cutting fluid is not sufficient; the material hardness of the workpiece is too high; when the tap is sharpened, the burn phenomenon occurs.

The tap breaks correctly to select the diameter of the bottom hole of the thread; the angle of the sharpening edge or the spiral groove tap; the depth of the drill hole should reach the specified standard; the cutting speed is appropriately reduced, and the standard is selected; the tap and the bottom hole are corrected when tapping the thread. Ensure that the coaxiality meets the requirements, and select the floating tapping chuck; increase the taper front angle, shorten the length of the cutting cone; ensure the hardness of the workpiece meets the requirements, use the safety chuck; the tap wear should be replaced in time.

Tap tapering appropriately reduces the taper anterior angle; appropriately increases the length of the cutting cone; reduces the hardness and replaces the tap in time.

If the tap wears too fast, the cutting speed is reduced appropriately; the taper rake angle is reduced, the length of the cutting cone is lengthened; the lubricating fluid with good lubricity is selected; the workpiece is subjected to appropriate heat treatment; and the tap is correctly ground.

If the diameter of the thread is too large, select the diameter of the tap with reasonable accuracy level; select the appropriate cutting fluid and reduce the cutting speed appropriately; correct the coaxiality of the tap and the bottom hole of the thread when tapping the thread, use the floating chuck; appropriately reduce the rake angle and cutting Cone back angle; remove the burrs from the sharpening tap and increase the length of the cutting cone as appropriate.

If the diameter of the thread is too small, select the tap diameter of the appropriate precision grade; appropriately increase the taper angle and the cutting cone angle; replace the excessively worn tap; use a good lubricating fluid.

If the surface roughness value of the thread is too large, increase the taper angle of the tap to reduce the taper angle of the tap; heat treatment, increase the hardness of the workpiece, ensure that the taper surface of the tap has a lower surface roughness value, and select a cutting fluid with good lubricity; Cutting speed; replace worn taps.
